This open discussion list is an expression of our commitment to women's liberation contained in Concern #7 of the ILPS, to wit: Concern # 7: The cause of women's liberation and rights against all forms of sexual discrimination, exploitation and violence; The listserve is intended to help women's organizations, advocates and even individual women gain a comprehensive understanding of the global and historical dimensions of the struggle for women's liberation and how this links to the general people's struggle for liberation. We hope as well that women the world over will gain from the listserve a true sense of international militant sisterhood. In this manner, we hope to fulfill partly the resolutions passed by the women's workshops at the ILPS First and Second International Assemblies, especially such resolutions that called for coordination and information exchange among progressive women's organizations. To post a message to all the list members, send email to women@lists.ilps-news.com. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to women
Subscribe to women by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
