|
This open discussion list is an expression of our commitment to women's liberation contained in Concern #7 of the ILPS, to wit: Concern # 7: The cause of women's liberation and rights against all forms of sexual discrimination, exploitation and violence; The listserve is intended to help women's organizations, advocates and even individual women gain a comprehensive understanding of the global and historical dimensions of the struggle for women's liberation and how this links to the general people's struggle for liberation. We hope as well that women the world over will gain from the listserve a true sense of international militant sisterhood. In this manner, we hope to fulfill partly the resolutions passed by the women's workshops at the ILPS First and Second International Assemblies, especially such resolutions that called for coordination and information exchange among progressive women's organizations.
